FAQs

How do I book a pet photography session?

Booking is very simple, either use the booking form on the home page to select a spot, or contact me via email.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance to secure a preferred date and time, as sessions get taken up very fast.

Where do the photo sessions take place?

Sessions can be held either outdoors at a local park or indoors at your home, depending on your pet’s preference and comfort. I’m also happy to suggest locations if you are unsure.

How long does a typical shoot last?

Most shoots last between 30 and 60 minutes. This allows time to capture a variety of poses and expressions while keeping your pet happy and engaged.

Do I have to pay the full amount in advance?

No, you can choose to pay a £40 deposit and the rest after the shoot, or the full amount up front if you prefer.

Can I bring more than one pet to the session?

Absolutely, photographing multiple pets together is often a way to bring out more of their character. Please let me know in advance how many pets will be attending so I can plan accordingly.

How should I prepare my pet for the photo session?

Make sure your pet is well-rested and has had a chance to go to the bathroom before the session. I can provide treats and toys, but if they have any favourites, make sure to bring those as well.

What should I wear if I want to be in the photos with my pet?

Wear comfortable clothing in solid colors or subtle patterns that complement your pet’s fur. Avoid bright or distracting prints to keep the focus on your pet.

How long does it take to receive the final photos?

Photos will be sent to you within 4-5 days of the session via an online gallery.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

I understand that plans can change. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Can you photograph pets with special needs or elderly pets?

Yes, I have experience working with pets of all ages and abilities, and will ensure the session is comfortable and stress-free for your friend.

Do you offer printed photographs?

Currently I do prints on a case-by-case basis. This can either be discussed via email or on the shoot.

What if the weather is bad on the day?

As is often the case in Britain, sometimes the weather can change its mind at short notice. Should this occur, you can either decide to reschedule for free or continue. After all, some pets enjoy a run in the rain!
